Grant Process
-
The first step in the grant application process is to complete the grant inquiry form via this website.
-
The grant inquiry will be promptly reviewed by DVREDF.
-
Should staff determine that the proposed project is a "good fit" with DVREDF's goals, the applicant will be notified electronically. This notification will include a link through which to complete the full grant application.
-
The application and all attachments are to be submitted on-line. If for some reason the application cannot be submitted on-line, the applicant may contact DVREDF to arrange an alternative.
-
After receiving the application, a DVREDF staff member will contact the agency and schedule a site visit. Staff reserves the right to request additional information as needed.
-
The amount of time required to consider an application will vary with the complexity of the application, the quality of the material submitted and the response time of the applicant to produce the required information.
-
DVREDF operates a Loan and Grant subcommittee that meets monthly to consider requests. Their recommendations are submitted to the DVREDF Board of Directors.
-
The applicant will be notified of the disposition of the Board by phone or e-mail usually within 7 business days of the decision. If the application is denied, the applicant will also receive a letter citing the reason for denial.
